Japeth Aguilar is yet to find time for a haircut
BINAN, LAGUNA – Japeth Aguilar has looked different in the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup.
The Ginebra star has been sporting some sort of afro for almost half a year now.
And on Friday, it was yet again in full display for everybody at the Alonte Sports Arena to see.
Apparently, the last time Aguilar had a haircut was right after the year 2018 began. "Matagal na 'to. Before pa mag-FIBA Asia yung last ko na gupit," he said, referring to the regional meet back in February.
For everybody wondering, his new 'do is not a statement or anything of the sort. Asked if it had to anything to do with the performance of either Ginebra or Gilas Pilipinas, he answered, "Hindi, hindi naman."
He then continued, "Ano lang, 'di ko lang na-manage nang maayos. Wala lang oras."
The 31-year-old said he has been trying to find some time for a haircut, but his schedule just hasn't opened up. "I'll try to squeeze in time. Yesterday, I tried to go to the barber, but wala rin so we'll just see," he shared.
With the Gin Kings next assignment slated for Sunday, he will have new chances to go to the barber,
And so, only time will tell if Aguilar will be back to the Aguilar of old.
