PBA: Terrence Romeo shrugs off latest injury setback
Terrence stepped on the foot of Blackwater's Renz Palma. The incident left his left ankle swollen and he never returned for the second half, finishing with 12 points in just 15 minutes of play.

Terrence Romeo barely finished his seventh game of the season Friday.

Playing against the Blackwater Elite in the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup, Romeo's night was cut short after he tweaked his ankle late in the first half.

Terrence stepped on the foot of Blackwater's Renz Palma. The incident left his left ankle swollen and he never returned for the second half, finishing with 12 points in just 15 minutes of play.

This is the latest of Romeo's injury woes following a knee injury that sidelined him since late last year.

Apparently, his knee was also feeling some discomfort pre-game and the latest ankle injury proved to be a double whammy.

Ang sakit talaga," he added.

Despite this latest setback, Romeo hardly any feels any frustration as his quest to get back in top shape suffers another speed bump.

Romeo says it's just all part of it and he'll just rest it out.

"Normal naman to sa mga player. Kailangan ko lang tignan to na may reason kung bakit ganito, baka overwork or kailangan ko lang magpahinga diba. Ayun.
