PBA: Magnolia takes another hit with Sangalang injury

Magnolia is taking another hit in its frontline.

With Marc Pingris practically out for the season with an ACL tear, Ian Sangalang is the latest to get bitten by the injury bug as the top forward is now dealing with an injury on his right wrist.

Sangalang hurt his non-shooting hand in the first half of Friday's game against Meralco, an 81-79 win for the Hotshots.

"Di ko talaga mailaro. Masakit," Sangalang said.

"Feeling ko sumabit, di ko alam kung kanino. May nag-pop sa loob, parang may tumunog. Tapos na-feel ko talaga na masakit, mga ilang segunod di ko na maigalaw," he added.

Ian had his hand heavily taped as the game went on. Sangalang and the Hotshots are now waiting official word regarding the severity of the injury.

Hopefully, it's nothing serious.

"Meron nagsabi na fracture daw pero ipapax-ray namin to confirm," he said.

"Sana nothing serious naman. Ganun talaga, hindi maiiwasan. Basketball yan. Sana maging okay agad," Sangalang added.
