PBA: Blackwater banking on Henry Walker for inspiration
After a 0-6 start in the 2018 Commissioner's Cup, the Elite are bringing back "Mr. Inspiration" himself as they try to get anything going in the mid-season joust.

Blackwater is once again leaning on Henry Walker to save its conference.

After a 0-6 start in the 2018 Commissioner's Cup, the Elite are bringing back "Mr. Inspiration" himself as they try to get anything going in the mid-season joust.

Agent Sheryl Reyes, who represents Walker, confirmed the development Monday.

Blackwater is dead last in the standings and is on the brink of elimination even before the All-Star break officially started.

The Elite already changed coaches, replacing Leo Isaac with Bong Ramos and now, the Ever Bilena franchise is letting go of Jarrid Famous in favor of Walker.

Walker was put in a similar position last season after Blackwater had a 0-3 start in the Governors' Cup. The team rallied behind Walker and made the playoffs as the no. 8 seed.

They came minutes away from upsetting no. 1 Meralco in the quarterfinals.

Walker should be available for the Elite right after the All-Star break.
