Globalport Batang Pier coach Pido Jarencio says that the team made a lot of errors in his team's 96-90 loss against the top-seeded Rain or Shine Elasto Painters at the Araneta Coliseum Sunday evening.

The highlight of the game, was of course the big scrum in the last minutes of a close game in the fourth quarter, which saw ejections from both sides.

Not only was the ejection a big problem for the losing side, but also lapses in key moments of the game.

"Actually, out of frustrations 'yun, ano. At the same time, 'yung mga decision-making namin sa game, ang sama. Ang sama talaga. Ang sama. Tapos ang dami naming turnovers. And then, masyadong gigil 'yung mga players. Hindi usual game namin na moving the ball, screening, setting screens," Jarencio said after the game.

Regarding the fight involving his players, the former UST coach did not object to the four technical fouls issued to his bench for leaving the area in the incident.

As for the rest of the remaining five games for the Batang Pier, who currently sit at a 3-3 slate, the former player affectionately known as the "Fireman" knows that the Batang Pier need to step up if they want to have a crack at playoff spot.

"We have to improve on that going to our last five games. Crucial na 'yung mga laro eh. We're 3-3 right now, and we're playing Alaska, Dyip, San Miguel, Ginebra, Phoenix. Medyo malalakas na team."
