Sunday Sneaks just received a super upgrade.

Rey Nambatac is doing custom shoes justice, choosing to break out a very special adidas Harden Vol. 2 against Globalport in the 2018 Commissioner's Cup.

Using the "Imma Be A Star" colorway as base, Nambatac decided to put the legendary Son Goku in his pair, making his shoe truly 1 of 1.

Goku, who really needs to introduction to Pinoy fans, is doing his signature kamehameha move in Nambatac's shoe.

Turns out Nambatac, pretty much like everyone else, is a huge fan of the iconic Super Saiyan and his super friends.

Yun nga, marami naman natuwa and nagustuhan nila," he added.

The former Letran Knight admitted to being shocked as to how much custom work on shoes cost.

It's definitely not cheap to get that kind of work done.

Fortunately, Nambatac has a pretty creative friend and that artist gave him a good, friendly deal for this first shoe.

Hindi niya talaga shop to eh, kumabaga sideline niya lang to," Nambatac said.

As for Son Goku, Rey is just a fan.

He tries to stay updated with the anime as much as he can but following Dragon Ball Super has been a task so far, especially since he's been working on his craft in the PBA.

"Avid fan ako since bata pa ako eh. Talagang wala akong mintis dun. Hanggang ngayon nanonood pa rin ako," Nambatac said.

The Son Goku pair is just the beginning Nambatac said. A Supreme-inspired one and a shoe bearing the likeness of Vegeta is coming up next.

Those should be worth a look in the future.
