The PBA All-Star Games is generally not the place to see technical fouls. It's all about fun in there.
But in the fourth quarter of the 2018 Luzon leg in Batangas City Friday, we saw not one, but two technical fouls as TNT star Terrence Romeo, for a split second, forgot that he's just playing a glorified exhbition game.
With his Gilas team up 142-129 against the Luzon All-Stars, Romeo had an issue on San Miguel's Arwind Santos and he ended up exchanging words with the veteran forward.
In the sequence before, Arwind elevated for a layup and when he landed, his elbow hit Romeo, triggering Terrence's mini outburst.
That didn't matter though as both were slapped with technical fouls.
Two technical fouls in the All-Star Game, that's something else.
Terrence approached Arwind almost immediately afterwards and apologized.
Arwind adds that everything is all good.
"Nabagsakan ko lang siya. Gumanti siya kaagad and then nag-sorry naman kami sa isa't isa," Santos said.
