PBA: Watch out for Kiefer's upcoming eight-pack of abs

"One year and five months, eight-pack [abs] na," --- Kiefer Ravena.
After being suspended by FIBA for testing positive for a banned substance, Kiefer Ravena has a lot of time on his hands right now.
About 18 months, actually.
Kiefer also got a lot of jokes.
Ravena's ban is over and done with, he's serving the suspension right now. He can't do anything about that for now.
So Kiefer is taking the healthier approach and is trying to see the positives he can take out of all of this.
"Sabi ko nga sa inyo guys," Kiefer started as he talked to scribes Wednesday at the Big Dome.
"One year and five months, eight-pack [abs] na," he added.
Apart from his suspension to FIBA-sanctioned tournaments, Ravena is also not allowed to participate in any basketball-related activities regarding the national team.
As for NLEX, his camp is in coordination with FIBA to find out if his suspension applies to the PBA as well.
In the meantime, Kiefer will be reduced to only individual workouts as he tries to keep himself sharp just in case things suddenly favor him.
"Just being in shape, though walang competition, it's all in the mind eh, that's how I'll be able to rise above it," he said.
"Medyo mahirap pero kailangan lagpasan. Even though I'm not playing I have to find my own ways of trying to keep in shape kasi mamaya baka biglang ma-lift yung suspension tapos nagpapabaya ako. Just being ready for whatever, hopefully I'll be allowed to practice also," Ravena added.
