PBA: Johnson wants that title for Rain or Shine
"My favorite team is Rain or Shine and I'm going for the championship. Our goal is to win the championship, I'm not afraid to say it," --- Reggie Johnson.

Everyone's still high on the San Miguel Beermen to win the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup.

Well, naturally.

The Beermen are the defending champions and they've added Christian Standhardinger and Renaldo Balkman.

However, the champs are struggling right now and who knows if they ever get it right in this conference.

A team that's not struggling right now though is Rain or Shine, the 2016 Commissioner's Cup champions.

The Elasto Painters are sitting pretty at no. 1 right now and they've made it known that they want a top-2 seed entering the playoffs.

Import Reggie Johnson has added to that, saying that he's going for the title. Obviously.

"I know you guys love SMB, San Miguel and Ginebra, that's y'all," Johson said Saturday after another ROS win.

"My favorite team is Rain or Shine and I'm going for the championship. Our goal is to win the championship, I'm not afraid to say it," he added.

That's some big talk for the hulking import but Johnson knows that talking is the easy part.

Actually doing it is another and he's prepared to put in the work in order to help ROS maintain its fine start and win a title anew.

"It was a big win for us. Right now, a lot of teams at the top are winning. TNT won yesterday, Alaska won today, so it was a big win for us," Johnson said.

"There's more work to do," he added.
