PBA: Jeron Teng, 2 other players involved in scuffle - police

Professional basketball players Jeron Teng, Norbert Torres, and Thomas Torres were reportedly involved in a stabbing incident on Sunday, before dawn, outside a night club in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
A heated argument between the cagers and the suspects, a certain Edmar Lacanlale, 40, and Willard Balisi, 37, ecscalated into a stabbing at the parking lot of the Early Night Bar at the Fort Strip at around 2:30 AM according to a police report.
As per the report, Teng, who plays for Alaska, Norbert, who plays for Rain or Shine, as well as their former teammate Thomas, who is now playing for Mandaluyong in the MPBL, were called out by Lacanlale, a Filipino-American, and Balisi, before an argument ensued, followed by the clash.
Both groups sustained injuries, according to police, but two from Teng's group, yet unidentified, were "seriously injured".
Jeron was stabbed on his back, according to his older brother Jeric, while Norbert and Thomas sustained deep cuts.

They were rushed to the nearby St. Luke's Hospital for treatment and are now under supervision.
The two suspects also sustained injuries, and were taken into police custody, according to Jerome Lantin of ABS-CBN News.

Teng and Norbert had Commissioner's Cup games in the PBA the night prior the incident.
