Poy Erram is nothing but confident that this is just the start of much more good things for cellar-dwelling Blackwater
Poy Erram has had for himself a pretty solid 2018 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.
The Blackwater big man is posting a near double-double average of 11.6 points, nine rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.5 blocks through eight games.
Only, it took him and his team until their eighth, and most recent, game to finally get on the board.
Nonetheless, Erram and the Elite are taking the 87-85 thriller of a triumph over Magnolia. “Masaya yung feeling na nakakuha ng isang panalo. Sabi ko nga, parang nakalimutan na namin yung feeling kung paano manalo,” he told reporters with a smile post-game.
He then continued, “Kaya naman for us, parang nabawasan kami ng tinik sa lalamunan. I-eenjoy namin ito.”
The fourth-year player was quick to add, though, “’Di pa rito natatapos yung conference namin.”
Indeed, Blackwater still has Rain or Shine, Meralco, and San Miguel remaining on its schedule.
And even though they virtually have no shot at making it to the next round, they plan to go all-out and improve on their 1-7 standing. “Ang goal namin is to win every game. Kahit wala na kaming chance, ipu-push namin yung sarili namin para makakuha pa rin ng panalo,” Erram shared.
He then continued, “Bago pa naman mag-start yung conference, ang goal namin is magkapanalo.”
