The reigning four-time league MVP was simply unstoppable in the final 12 minutes and he ended up finishing with 37 points and 18 rebounds. 17 points came in the fourth period.

"First of all ano, maraming salamat sa Panginoon at binigyan kami ng panalo. Alam naman natin na napakahirap manalo. And every time we will be facing KIA, I'm really worried because we have history with this team. Even though in the elimination or in the tune-up game, hirap na hirap kami manalo dito," head coach Leo Austria said.
"Masaya ko na nanalo kami, pero malungkot ako dahil we gave up 117 points. So, it's not an indication na we're playing well sa defense ano. In order for us to win games, in the next few games, we have to play defense," he added.
San Miguel was having trouble putting away Columbian in the first three quarters.
But then the Beermen just unleashed the Kraken in the fourth and now the champs have fully recovered from their winless start to the conference. San Miguel is back to .500 halfway throuh its campaign and will work with a 3-3 mark moving forward.
The Dyip are a complte opposite as they dropped their third straight game for a 3-5 record.
