PBA: Johnson is getting tired of all the close games
With their current run, ROS has been able to win close games, overtime games, and has engineered several comeback efforts. While that's nice and all, import Reggie Johnson would like some break from all the down-the-wire contests.

Rain or Shine is on a roll right now.

At 8-1, the Elasto Painters have an inside track to one of the two playoff bonuses.

With their current run, ROS has been able to win close games, overtime games, and has engineered several comeback efforts.

While that's nice and all, import Reggie Johnson would like some break from all the down-the-wire contests.

"They're important but I'm kinda tired of them," Johnson said of all the close decisions.

"We got like eight close games already, sometimes I wanna relax in the fourth quarter," he added.

As the playoffs near, Johnson and the Elasto Painters might have no choice but to continue playing close games.

Johnson understands that and he's ready for it.

"Guys are giving us their best shot, we're at the top of the standings and guys are coming prepared. It's to be expected," Johnson said.

ROS is no. 1 right now but a lot of things can still happen with a bunch of teams stacked up at the top of the standings.

But Johnson is confident with their chances.

"Our fate is in our hands. We got Meralco and we got TNT. As long as we keep winning man, we can reach our goal of finishing no. 1 and our playoff goal which is the championship. But it's important that we keep winning going to the playoffs," he said.
