37-23-10 for Eugene Phelps as Phoenix destroys Globalport in the Commissioner's Cup.
This one was not even close.
Phoenix finally figured out how to not lose a huge lead and the Fuel Masters cruised to a 135-108 win over Globalport Wednesday in the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup at the Big Dome.
The Fuel Masters scored 41 points right off the bat, taking the Batang Pier out of it early.
Phoenix led by as many as 36, 97-61, before finally snapping a four-game slide. The Fuel Masters kept their conference alive with a 4-6 mark.
"Hopefully this will be the start of something big for us," head coach Louie Alas said.
"Yun lang naman hinihintay namin eh, magkaroon ng breakout game where mama-manage namin yung lead," he added.
