PBA: Retooled Gin Kings out to continue ascent
In a span of three days, Ginebra won Manila Clasico by 20 points and acquired Jeff Chan and Julian Sargent for a first round pick and Paolo Taha respectively.

A couple of weeks back, Brgy. Ginebra was practiacally on the brink of elimination in the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup.

Back-to-back wins and a couple of trades later, the Gin Kings are back.

In a span of three days, Ginebra won Manila Clasico by 20 points and acquired Jeff Chan and Julian Sargent for a first round pick and Paolo Taha respectively.

Now, the Gin Kings are at 3-5 with a new shooter and an extra wing stopper.

As the mid-season joust continues Wednesday, the retooled Gin kings look to push through with their ascend as they take on the dangerous and unpredictable Columbian Dyip.

Columbian is actually ahead of Ginebra with a 4-5 mark and the main 7:00 p.m. showdown will be crucial in determining the 5th-8th spots in the playoffs.

In the first game at 4:30 p.m., Phoenix (3-6) and Globalport (4-4), the two teams Ginebra had separate deals with, battle for a crucial win.

Both games will be at the Big Dome.
