After the Elasto Painters took the no. 1 seed in the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup, Johnson is one step closer to fulfilling his wish.
Reggie Johnson has said it before, he wants a title for Rain or Shine.
And after the Elasto Painters took the no. 1 seed in the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup, Johnson is one step closer to fulfilling his wish.
"Everywhere I've been, I was able to be a winner. Everywhere I played professionally, I won a championship," Johnson said.
"That's my biggest thing, as far as the imports are concerned, lead my team the furthest," he added.
With ROS at no. 1, it's not hard to imagine that Johnson is also at the top of the Best Import race considering he's one of the few that started the tournament with his original team.
But that individual citation is far from the mind of Reggie. He wants that title for than anything.
"I fit in easy with the locals, I'm not a mean guy, I'm a nice guy, approachable," he said.
"So I just try to do my job. I really don't worry about the other imports, because there are different things going on for them than with me. So I'm just trying to stay level-headed and lead my team as far as I can," Johnson added.
