PBA: Waiting game for ROS as they secure top seed

The championship is the least of Rain or Shine's concerns right now despite taking the no. 1 seed.
By capturing the top overall seed and the twice-to-beat advantage that comes along with it, Rain or Shine has accomplished its first goal in the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup.
Despite that however, the Elasto Painters are in no rush to move on to the next goal at hand.
The championship is the least of Rain or Shine's concerns right now.
"Wala, malayo pa," head coach Caloy Garcia said after ROS clinched no. 1 Sunday with an overtime win over Meralco.
"Kahit may twice-to-beat ka, it's still a difficult task in this league, the competition is really high. Mahirap eh, there might be a bad day, problema namin usually is injuries. So far, this conference, we've been okay, so yeah. Yun lang talaga ang pino-problema namin, usually injuries," he added.
With the no. 1 seed, ROS will now wait for the 8th spot to be decided.
That's still a crazy situation right now with a bunch of teams competing for the last playoff spots available.
For the meantime, the Elasto Painters will just wait this one out. They won't even bother to wish for an opponent.
"We can't really choose because every team here, medyo malakas naman lahat ng team. I think right now, we're on a high, we just have to carry it on," Garcia said.
"We still have to rely on the locals. Masyado namin, I think in almost all the games, we rely too much on Reggie, he's been trying to be a role player from time to time, trying to feed the locals. So as long as the locals step up and do their job, we're gonna be okay," he added.
