After that, the frontline got some big boost as Ian Sangalang finally returned from a wrist injury that sidelined him for close to two months.

The star forward returned Wednesday in Magnolia's huge win over NLEX. He played 19 minutes and scored nine points.

"Okay naman ako. Maybe next game, I’ll be better next game. Hopefully, next game, 100-percent na," he said.

"Kinukuha lang yung rhythm para next game ready na," he added.

After taking hits all conference long causing them to struggle as a team, Sangalang is positive that the Hotshots are primed for a run now.

The victory over the Road Warriors is a good start.

"Sakto ito na kumpleto kami kahit unti-unti. Nakuha namin yung gusto namin na import," he said.

"Siguro yung confidence namin sa team at sa isa’t isa, mabu-build up namin sa next game going to the playoffs," Sangalang added.
