"When you go out di natin alam sino ma-encounter natin so ingat lang," --- Jeron Teng.
A little over a month after he got involved in an unfortunate stabbing incident, Jeron Teng is back in the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup for the Alaska Aces.
In a victory over the Phoenix Fuel Masters Friday at the Cuneta Astrodome, Teng played 18 and a half minutes, scoring seven points and grabbing two rebounds.
Following near-death experience, Teng is just happy to be back on the court for the Aces.
"Super happy ako and blessed na I was able to get back this conference," Teng said.
"Just happy to be able to play again," he added.
Getting out of the hospital, Teng got continous treatment from Alaska's staff as he worked his way back to playing shape.
On Friday, he was finally good enough to play and he's now trying to focus on the playoffs after the Aces wrapped up the no. 2 seed.
"One month ako nawala kaya yung timing ko medyo off pa rin," he said.
"Pero I'm working on it, swerte pa rin ako na may isang game pa before the playoffs, at least kahit papaano nakalaro ako," Jeron added.
Going through a traumatic experience, Teng just wants everyone to be careful out there.
"When you go out di natin alam sino ma-encounter natin so ingat lang," Jeron said.
