PBA: Scottie Thompson has "quadruple-double" in Ginebra win

Scottie Thompson was all over the court for Ginebra in the big win over Globalport.
Stanley Pringle had 50 points in his last outing for Globalport in the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup.
Friday against Ginebra, he only had 14 points.
That's because Scottie Thompson shut him down.
Scottie held Pringle to only 5 of 11 shooting from the field, while that's respectable, the glaring stat is the fact that Stanley shot 10 three pointers, making four of them.
Pringle went 1 of 1 inside the arc. Scottie never allowed Stanley to get close.
"Naging committed lang ako from the start kasi yun talaga ang challenge para sakin," Thompson said on his defense on Pringle.
"Sa practice namin yun talaga yung winork-out namin, talagang i-limit si Pringle sa mga touches niya. Hindi naman namin siya ma-stop eh so yung goal lang namin is i-limit yung touches niya," he added.
On top of his tough defensive stand on Pringle, Thompson also messed around and got himself a triple double in the huge Ginebra win.
Scottie finished with 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists but for head coach Tim Cone, his prized guard might as well be awarded with a quadruple-double.
"It just shows Scottie isn't just a triple-double guy, with defense he's a quadruple guy," Cone said on Thompson's performance.
"He certainly did double digits in defense tonight," he added.
