After barely making it to the playoffs in the All-Filipino, the KaTropa with Terrence Romeo are the no. 3 seed in the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup, just one game back from first place.
For the most part, the Terrence Romeo to TNT era is off the a good start.
After barely making it to the playoffs in the All-Filipino, the KaTropa are the no. 3 seed in the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup, just one game back from first place.
And by being the no. 3 seed with an 8-3 record, Romeo will have his highest elimination round finish entering the playoffs.
But that's not the goal though.
"Di pa yun yung gusto namin makuha," Romeo said.
"Mas pagbubutihan namin sa playoffs. Yun yung kailangan, maka-pasok kami sa semis then bahala na pagdating sa semis," he added.
Against no. 1 Rain or Shine, Romeo only finished with two points on six shots.
However, he dished out 12 assists, running the TNT offense to near perfection as Jayson Castro took the time to sit the game out.
Terrence deflected the credit though, saying it's easy to get assists with great teammates around him.
"Lahat naman ng kasama ko alam ko magagaling eh, capable umiskor," he said.
"Di ko na pinipilit yung sitwasyon," Romeo added.
