PBA: Jeff Chan finally hit a triple for Ginebra
In Game 1 of the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup quarterfinals against Meralco, Chan, acquired by the Gin Kings in a late-tournament trade, managed to finally hit his first triple as an official member of the barangay.

After four games with Brgy. Ginebra, Jeff Chan finally hit a triple.

Took him long enough, right?

In Game 1 of the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup quarterfinals against Meralco, Chan, acquired by the Gin Kings in a late-tournament trade, managed to finally hit his first triple as an official member of the barangay.

Scoring eight points in the win, Chan went 1-of-2 from deep.

"I hope all of our fans are happy now that Jeff has hit a three-point shot," head coach Tim Cone said.

"I hope there's many more to come," he added.

Chan is hoping for exactly that as well.

For the meantime, Chan is just happy to stay winning with the Gin Kings. Ginebra is 4-0 with Chan on deck.

"Ako rin, excited ako. At least ngayon yung kumpiyansa ko medyo nandiyan na, hindi na ako yung passive," Chan said.

"Kailangan ko lang maging aggressive din para makatulong," he added.

Another thing that Chan is happy about with Ginebra is the tremendous fan support.

The veteran sniper faced the Ginebra crowd in the playoffs before. Now that crowd is on his side.

"Kasi usually kalaban ko yung crowd di ba, pero now nasa same side na. Masaya, iba kasi yung feeling din na maraming nagche-cheer," he said.

"Magandang experience din for me na makalaro sa Ginebra, thank you din sa fans sa pag-accept sakin," Chan added.
