June Mar Fajardo and the Beermen were down 23 to TNT in the first half of their 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup quarterfinals series.
San Miguel Beer had to work extra hard to win Game 1 of its quarterfinals series against TNT in the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup.
The defending champion Beermen were down early and were forced to erase a 23-point deficit to take an early lead in the short, best-of-3 series.
But as sensational as that comeback was, four-time MVP June Mar Fajardo says its time to move on for San Miguel, noting that Game 2, which is set in two days, will be far different.
"Tapos na yung game na yun eh. Move on na.
For sure, gagawin nila ang lahat para maka-bounce back. Ganoon din kami. Kailangan namin tapusin agad yung series kung maaari. Mahirap yung sitwasyon," he added.
Fajardo was one of the major keys in the Beermen's comeback as he scored a total of 27 points, 17 in the second half. He also had 13 rebounds.
As San Miguel struggled to make anything in the first half, Fajardo just had to carry a heavier load in the second half right behind import Renaldo Balkman who dropped a game-high 36.
