PBA: June Mar apologetic after rare technical foul
In the second quarter of Game 2 against Alaska in the Commissioner's Cup semifinals, June Mar spiked the ball to the floor after a made basket. That netted him an automatic technical.

For the first time in what seemed like forever, June Mar Fajardo was called for a technical foul.

In the second quarter of Game 2 against Alaska in the Commissioner's Cup semifinals, June Mar spiked the ball to the floor after a made basket.

That netted him an automatic technical.

June Mar is very sorry about the violation.

"Oo nga. Sorry, sorry. Nanggigil ako. Sorry," Fajardo said when asked about it after the game.

"Di ko alam, parang nanggigil lang ako. Kasi gusto rin namin manalo tapos down kami. Pero okay na yun. Sorry," he added.

The Beermen ended up beating the Aces for a 2-0 lead in the best-of-5 though and San Miguel now has its eyes set on a sweep. He scored 21 points and grabbed 18 rebounds in the victory.

But June Mar is still wary, saying that Alaska is still a tough out.

"For sure di ganun kadali yun next game kasi kailangan nila manalo eh," he said.

"Ganun din kami, kailangan namin tapusin sa next game para makapagpahinga kami," June Mar added.
