PBA: Balkman partners with local foundation to help orphans
Last year it was Charles Rhodes and this year, it's Renaldo Balkman that's taking the time to give back and share his blessings to people that need it most.

San Miguel imports sure like to share their love.

Balkman, who's been in the country for the better part of this year playing for San Miguel-Alab Pilipinas in the ABL and the San Miguel Beermen in the PBA, announced Tuesday via his Instagram page that he's looking to partner with the Alay Pag-Asa Christian Foundation to help orphaned kids.

"It's that time that I give back. #BalkmaniaCares Foundation presents #GivingLoveBack to the orphans of Alay Pag-Asa Christian Foundation," Balkman wrote on his IG post.

"A time to spend time with the kids, get to know them, play, gift-giving and feeding program," he added.

Balkman is currently in the middle of a heated Commissioner's Cup Finals against Brgy. Ginebra with the series tied at 1-1 and a pivotal Game 3 set for Wednesday.

Still, Balkman is not wasting time trying to make his good cause move. According to his post, Balkman's team will be taking donations until Friday, August 3.

Donations ranging from school supplies, toys, or even monetary help are appreciated and Balkman's foundation can be reached through the contact details shown in his poster.

"I've been in the Philippines for long months now, and y'all have shown me nothing but love! It's that time that I give back," Balkman said.
