PBA: June Mar still wary of Ginebra
Taking a 2-1 series lead over Ginebra following a 132-94 win Wednesday, reigning four-time MVP June Mar Fajardo remains wary of the Gin Kings.

After a second straight blowout victory in the PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals, San Miguel's confidence has to be sky high now.

Well not exactly.

Taking a 2-1 series lead over Ginebra following a 132-94 win Wednesday, reigning four-time MVP June Mar Fajardo remains wary of the Gin Kings.

After all, Ginebra scored its own blowout win in Game 1 and they are more than capable of doing it again in this series.

"Kasi alam naman natin gaano kalakas yung Ginebra. Natambakan nga nila kami noong Game 1, kaya nila ulit gawin yun," Fajardo said.

"Sa side naman namin, hindi na siguro namin hahayaan yun. Siguro natuto na kami sa Game 1," he added.

Despite taking a 38-point win, San Miguel had to work for this one.

The Beermen were only up by two at halftime and had to rely on a huge effort from Chris Ross and Renaldo Balkman to pull away in the third quarter.

Fajardo also did his part in the win, finishing with 22 points and 15 rebounds.

"Hindi naman porket nalamangan na ng malaki, easy win na yun," June Mar said.

"Siguro napaghandaan lang namin ng maayos and then nandoon yung intensity. Hindi namin afford mag-relax para next game so dapat same intensity pa rin," he added.
