San Miguel import Renaldo Balkman also had his fair share of hits Wednesday, taking separate elbows from Greg Slaughter and teammate June Mar Fajardo. Ouch.
Chris Ross wasn't the only one who got busted open in Game 3 of the PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals.
San Miguel import Renaldo Balkman also had his fair share of hits Wednesday, taking separate elbows from Greg Slaughter and teammate June Mar Fajardo.
At the end of everything, Balkman has a cut just above his left eye which he doesn't mind at all.
"It's a war wound for me," Balkman said.
"Gotta keep on fighting man. I gotta lot of wounds but I'm alright," he added.
Renaldo sure kept on fighting for San Miguel, finishing with 28 points, 13 in the pivotal third quarter, to go along with 11 rebounds and five assists.
He led the Beermen to a 38-point win over Ginebra and a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.
"We got two more to win. We gotta go back to practice tomorrow. Game 4, it’s going to be a tough one. We gotta go back in the lab tomorrow and come back on Friday and try to get another win," Balkman said.
"Like I said before, we keep executing our game plan. We’re all play defense, high intensity, we’re gonna win the game. Like tonight we played great," he added.
