PBA: Balkman and JDV figure in shoving match during Game 4

A couple of things have remained consistent in the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals.

The lopsided games persist and the chippiness increase every outing.

In the latest scuffle to mark the Finals, San Miguel import Renaldo Balkman and Ginebra forward Joe Devance figured in a mini shoving match at halftime of Game 4 Friday at the Big Dome.

After Balkman scored a buzzer beater to end the second period, cutting the Beermen's deficit to 15, 52-67, he bumped into Devance as they made their way to their respective locker rooms.

Renaldo appeared to shove Devance twice in an effort to get him out of the way and the whole thing almost escalated into something worse as the players piled up at the narrow tunnel heading to the dugouts.

Fortunately, cooler heads prevailed.

Game 4 has been interesting enough already with Ginebra jumping to a 17-0 start. The Gin Kings led by as many as 23 points in the first half as they look to tie the best-of-7 series at two games each.
