It's San Miguel's turn to say 'nice bawi'.

The Brgy. Ginebra Gin Kings returned the favor against the Beermen with another blowout win, pushing the winning margin of both teams in this series to 30.3 points per game.

While it has not been pretty for the first four match-ups, SMB coach Leo Austria again tipped his hat so Ginebra's quick start, which led to a wire-to-wire victory for the Gin Kings.

The win, Austria says, proves that the crowd favorites are no flukes, and that their opponents are very capable of toppling the two-time defending titleholders.

"Second game, he told me na “nice bawi.” And then before this game he kept on telling me na we’re too good and too strong for them. It’s not true.
He’s right before na his team is the only team—like what he’ve said before—the only team that could beat San Miguel and that’s very evident tonight," the reigning three-time Coach of the Year said.

Austria added that more effort was exerted by Ginebra, and was compounded by their impressive 17-0 blitz to start the game.

He also admitted that complacency may have gotten the best of them, since they were ahead 2-1 in the best-of-seven affair, and that the Tim Cone-mentored squad again took a page out of their legendary mantra.

"But Ginebra, they lived up to their billing na NSD — Never Say Die. That’s what happened tonight."

Now reduced to a best-of-three tussle, the 60-year old mentor grew weary but hopes that his wards will be extra aware of the stakes involved.

"I’m a little bit worried because… It’s a best-of-three, I think this will be on a crowd, ano. And they will be having a sixth man, which is the crowd. But I hope my team will realize that the stakes in the last three games—What we worked hard for in the past three months."
