PBA FInals By the Numbers: Magic Brownlee to the rescue
The PBA's Best Import scored 37 points on 15-of-18 shooting Friday night, putting Ginebra right back in this series.

So we'll never get a close game in the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals?

Game 4 of the San Miguel-Ginebra series was pretty much like the first three as one team got a huge run that stretched for a couple of minutes and the outcome was pretty much decided.

Only this time, it was Ginebra's turn once again and the best-of-7 showdown is now tied at two games each.

Hopefully, Game 5 will be finally close but let's have another look at Game 4 before moving on, shall we?

17

Ginebra opened Game 4 of the finals with 17 unanswered points, tying the all-time record in a PBA game.

TNT had the same run in Game 5 of the Commissioner's Cup Finals last year against San Miguel but the Beermen still won.

San Miguel would make no such comeback this time as the Gin Kings rolled to victory.

30

Total margin of victory for Ginebra.

The Gin Kings beat San Miguel, 130-100, in Game 4, making this the second most lopsided game in these Finals.

Ginebra won by 28 in Game 1 while the Beermen won by 25 and 38 in Games 2 and 3 respectively.

83 percent

Total shooting percentage for Justin Brownlee

The PBA's Best Import scored 37 points on 15-of-18 shooting Friday night, putting Ginebra right back in this series.

Brownlee has been pretty much unguardable for most of these Finals, which could mean trouble for San Miguel as this series moves on.

5,001

Total career points for June Mar Fajardo.

June Mar needed 14 points to break the mark in Game 4, he scored 15. However, his team lost by 30 in a Finals game so safe to say Fajardo would like to forget this one real quick.

1

Number of San Miguel losses everytime June Mar Fajardo wins a Best Player of the Conference award.

Fajardo has a record 7 BPCs and San Miguel won the first six Game 4s in the Finals. Friday against Ginebra was the Beermen's first loss when their prized center won the individual award.
