PBA: Ginebra now has a chance vs. SMB says Tenorio

Forcing a 2-2 tie against San Miguel in the Finals is a big deal.
The last two times Ginebra faced San Miguel in a best-of-7 series, the Gin Kings lost by a combined 10 games.
They were both 4-1 defeats and frankly, they were really not close at all.
This time is different though, Ginebra took Game 1 of the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals against San Miguel and after a 30-point win in Game 4, the Gin Kings have forced a 2-2 stalemate with the Beermen.
Now is relatively closer and more importantly, Ginebra now has a chance.
"We cannot say na confidence booster samin yun," guard LA Tenorio said of Ginebra forcing a 2-2 tie with San Miguel.
"I think nagkaroon lang kami ng chance," he added.
Previous results would indicate the obvious: it's tough to take down the Beermen in seven games.
But the longer to make the series, the better your chances are. And that's what the Gin Kings did by winning Game 4.
"Kahit sobrang confident kami every game, beating San Miguel is not easy, alam naman natin lahat yan," Tenorio said.
"But it's nice to have a second win against San Miguel and we're tied. I think the pressure is on them probably to get the next two wins," he added.
