PBA: Thompson is MVP after gritty Finals performance
The third-year guard out of Perpetual Help win his highest individual honor in the PBA to date, winning Finals MVP after Brgy. Ginebra beat San Miguel Beer for the title Wednesday in Game 6, 93-77.

Scottie Thompson is the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals MVP.

The third-year guard out of Perpetual Help win his highest individual honor in the PBA to date, winning Finals MVP after Brgy. Ginebra beat San Miguel Beer for the title Wednesday in Game 6, 93-77.

Thompson, who was pivotal in Ginebra's Game 5 win, averaged 10.8 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 5.2 assists in the Finals.

Scottie capped of his series with 12 points, 13 rebounds, and five assists in the series-clinching win.
