PBA: Meralco will deal with Finals once they get there
"We have to get there [Finals] to even have a chance of winning," head coach Norman Black said.

ANTIPOLO CITY --- After losing the last two Governors' Cup Finals, Meralco obviously wants to win the conference in 2018.

However, the Bolts will worry about a third straight Finals when they actually make it back.

For now, Meralco is content with dealing about the tournament one opponent at a time. On Friday at the Ynares Center here, the Bolts handled business, beating Columbian for win no. 1.

"We have to get there [Finals] to even have a chance of winning," head coach Norman Black said.

"We're just worried about Talk 'N Text," he added.

The Bolts play the KaTropa on Sunday, still at the Ynares Center.

Despite not looking too far ahead, Black says Meralco will for sure do a better job in the Finals, if they make it there.

"Hopefully, we put ourselves in a situation where we might be able to see the Finals again," Black said.

"We'll do a better job, hopefully we win it. But I'm just worried about the next game," he added.
