The Elite took down the KaTropa Friday at the MOA Arena, scoring a 104-98 overtime win in the 2018 PBA Governors' Cup.

It's the first time in Blackwater franchise history that they beat TNT in the PBA. The KaTropa were previously 11-0 over the Elite.

"Thank god," head coach Bong Ramos said on the win.

"I just told the players to play defense, kung makikita ninyo ang baba ng score kanina. Umabot kami sa 100 kasi overtime. I just continue to motivate them to play defense and we were able to salvage a W," he added.

After a Henry Walker dunk help force overtime, Allein Maliksi and Nard Pinto went to work for the Elite.

Both guards drained a triple each in extra time, helping Blackwater hold off the KaTropa.
