"Yung luha ko na to, happiness to," --- Blackwater head coach Bong Ramos.
Blackwater didn't exactly have a good campaign in the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup.
The Elite finished with a 1-10 mark, with the only win coming courtesy of a game-winning dunk by import Henry Walker.
To start the 2018 PBA Governors' Cup, Blackwater got its first win in its first game, a 104-98 victory over TNT Friday at the MOA Arena, and head coach Bong Ramos couldn't help but be emotional about it.
It's Ramos' second win in the PBA since taking over the Elite last conference.
"Haba ng talo namin sa second conference eh," Ramos said.
"Sinong di maiiyak sa panalo na yan," he added.
Blackwater's win was doubly special as it was the first time ever that the Elite beat TNT in the PBA.
The KaTropa were previously 11-0 against the Ever Bilen franchise.
"God's will," Ramos said of the win over TNT.
"Sorry emotional ako," he added as the tears continued to flow. "Yung luha ko na to, happiness to. Masaya dahil na-bless kami ng Diyos eh. Sorry ah, baka mapunta tayo sa teleserye. Brad, may tissue ba tayo jan?"
