PBA: Enciso downplays career night
Enciso scored a career-high 30 points, firing a total of nine three-pointers. Seven of them came in the first half and five went in during the opening period.

Simon Enciso was absolutely on fire Sunday for Alaska, leading the Aces to a convincing 125-96 win over TNT.

Enciso scored a career-high 30 points, firing a total of nine three-pointers. Seven of them came in the first half and five went in during the opening period.

"I just take one shot at a time," he said.

"I don't think of what happened before. I just stay in the present," Enciso added.

Well the present for Alaska is that the Aces now have a 2-0 mark to start the Governors' Cup, first place in the tournament.

Obviously, that's not the goal for the team but it's something good that Alaska can build on moving forward.

"It's really big especially going to a long break," Enciso said.

"We want to have a good amount of games won. It's a great start," he added.
