In his first game back, Aaron Fuller dropped an impressive 35 points, 21 rebounds, and seven assists.
Looks like NLEX will have a good problem in about a couple of weeks.
Olu Ashaolu has been doing well for the Road Warriors as import in the ongoing 2018 PBA Governors' Cup.
Unfortunately, he's down with a knee injury. Fortunately, his injury does not require surgery, just some rehab and a couple of weeks of rest.
In the meantime, NLEX has brought back Aaron Fuller, its import from last season.
Fuller picked up where he left off last year, leading the Road Warriors to a big win over Columbian Wednesday to improve their record to 3-1.
In his first game back, Fuller dropped an impressive 35 points, 21 rebounds, and seven assists.
"I think I did pretty good but I was pretty winded in the end," Fuller said who's been sideline for five months himself aftter his last league ended in March.
"Hopefully, in the next game, I have better conditioning. Good thing we got the win, it's a good team effort," he added.
With NLEX's import situation, both Fuller and Ashaolu know that one of them will have to give up their slot eventually.
However, both reinforcements also know that it's about their team winning games in the Governors' Cup so they understand.
"It's unfortunate he went down," Fuller said of Ashaolu.
"They [NLEX] called me and I just had to be ready. I just came out and tried to help the team get the win and that we did," he added.
