PBA: TNT will move on without Nash Racela for now
After absorbing back-to-back lopsided defeats to Alaska and Phoenix in less than a week, Racela was officially "on leave" from TNT KaTropa and didn't coach the team's overtime win over Columbian.

Nash Racela's status with TNT should be an interesting development for the KaTropa moving forward.

After absorbing back-to-back lopsided defeats to Alaska and Phoenix in less than a week, Racela was officially "on leave" from the team.

Nash didn't coach TNT Sunday against Columbian. In his place calling the shots was Eric Gonzales.

The KaTropa slightly did better this time around without Racela, losing a 16-point lead before recovering to beat the Dyip in overtime.

With TNT set to go on a break with the upcoming FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers, it appears that the team's status at the top will remain the same for now with Racela out of the picture momentarily.

"As of now, he's on leave," team manager Virgil Villavicencio said on Racela.

"Basta leave, dependa na," he added.
