PBA: Champion Ginebra goes for solo first before FIBA break
On Wednesday the Gin Kings take on the winless Northport Batang Pier (0-3) as they look to take over no. 1 in the standings before the league goes on a break for the FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.

The protagonists from the 2018 PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals are coming in hot in the Governors' Cup.

Two-time defending champion Brgy. Ginebra is off to a 2-0 start in its latest title defense behind the continued brilliance of super import Justin Brownlee.

On Wednesday the Gin Kings take on the winless Northport Batang Pier (0-3) as they look to take over no. 1 in the standings before the league goes on a break for the FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.

Meanwhile, the Beermen had a rousing debut last week behind the tireless Christian Standhardinger.

San Miguel will take on Blackwater as both teams shoot for their second win in as many games.

The Ginebra-Northport clash is set for 7:00 p.m. at the Big Dome right after the 4:30 p.m. showdown of the Beermen and Elite.
