PBA: Paul Lee redeems self with strong effort vs. ROS
Lee fired a game-high 22 points in the win against Rain or Shine in the 2018 PBA Governors' Cup, leading the Hotshots to a wire-to-wire win and a 3-1 start to the season-ending joust.

After struggling for only eight points in his Magnolia return last week, Paul Lee made sure to bounce back Wednesday for the Hotshots.

Lee fired a game-high 22 points in the win against Rain or Shine in the 2018 PBA Governors' Cup, leading the Hotshots to a wire-to-wire win and a 3-1 start to the season-ending joust.

On top of his 22 points, Lee also dished out seven assists and had four steals.

"I just played my game. I just focused for this game kasi I had a bad game so very important to redeem myself. And of course, very important for the whole team," Lee said.

"Masama lang gising last time," he added of his 8-point effort in the loss to leage-leading Phoenix.

With the victory, the Hotshots are keeping their position near the top of the standings. The win was also a nice boost heading into their next game against San Miguel.

"Very important kasi ito yung mga team na dapat namin i-panalo," Lee said.

"Kasi kakailanganan namin to end of the eliminations. Sa San Miguel 50-50 na kami dun," he added.
