PBA: Elite go for historic 7th win vs. streaking Magnolia
A win would also guarantee that Blackwater will have its best regular-season record in franchise history with at least seven victories.

The playoff race in the 2018 PBA Governors' Cup is heating up.

In the main 7:00 p.m. game Wedneday, Blackwater takes on Magnolia in a showdown that should help decide the top-3 of the season ending joust.

The Elite are currently in solo second with a 6-1 mark and a win will enable them to once again tie two-time defending champion Ginebra for first place.

A win would also guarantee that Blackwater will have its best regular-season record in franchise history with at least seven victories.

Meanwhile. the Hotshots are one of the hottest teams in the league currently and they enter the game with a 5-1 mark for third place.

In the first game at 4:30 p.m., Phoenix (5-2) and NLEX (4-3) shoot for bounce back victories.

All games are at the Cuneta Astrodome.
