PBA: Back-to-back wins for ROS after sinking Northport
Following a 0-4 start, ROS has now improved to 2-4 and are pretty much in the thick of the playoff race.

Looks like Rain or Shine is starting to find its groove.

The Elasto Painters made it back-to-back wins in the 2018 PBA Governors' Cup, sinking Northport, 120-98, Wednesday at the Cuneta Astrodome.

Following a 0-4 start, ROS has now improved to 2-4 and are pretty much in the thick of the playoff race.

"We played back-to-back good games," head coach Caloy Garcia said.

"Everybody was hitting it from anywhere so I think this is just our day, sana tuluy-tuloy yung ganitong laro namin," he added.

Chris Tiu led a balanced attack from Rain or Shine, firing a career-high 23 points, 15 in the final period.

Three other players finished with at least 20 points for the Elasto Painters with import Terrence Watson and Beau Belga going for 21 each. Belga didn't miss in eight attempts from field.

James Yap added 20 points for good measure.

Northport, coming into the game with back-to-back victories, crashed and didn't get anything going from the start.

The Batang Pier trailed by as many as 25 points and dropped to 2-7 with the loss. Import Rashad Woods led the team with 30 points.
