Monster Mike with the knockout blow.

Alaska's super import was clutch Sunday, leading the Aces to a pulsating 116-109 win over Blackwater in the 2018 PBA Governors' Cup at the Big Dome.

With the Elite charging, Mike Harris drilled a four-point play with less than 20 seconds to go to put away Blackwater for good, 114-106.

Alaska's win forced a three-way tie for first place in the standings with the Aces, the Magnolia Hotshots, and two-time champion Brgy. Ginebra all with identical 7-2 records.

In a back-and-forth showdown, the Aces got a headstart late in the first half as a 10-0 run put them up by 11, 50-39.

Blackwater would comeback multiple times throughout the second half but Alaska always seemed to have a response with Harris and Chris Banchero at the lead.

Harris finished with 38 points for the game, 23 in the second half, to go along with 19 rebounds. Banchero only missed four shots and dropped 28 points for the Aces.

For the Elite, they lose back-to-back games for the first time this conference and they are now tied with Phoenix for no. 4 with identical 6-3 cards.

Import Henry Walker led the way with 29 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists but it was not enough. Mike Digregorio was Blackwater's top local with 20 points and JP Erram added another 18 in a losing effort.
