PBA: RDO and KG expected to return to Bolts
The Bolts are expected to welcome back Ranidel De Ocampo and KG Canaleta from injury and both should be available against the Beermen.

A long break could go both ways to PBA teams, especially those who are on a nice winning streak.

The Bolts have come back from the dead in the 2018 PBA Governors' Cup, winning three straight games to keep their flickering playoff hopes alive.

However, Meralco will not play its last regular season game until Nov. 3, giving the team roughly two weeks of down time.

Head coach Norman Black is hoping the Bolts' momentum won't be zapped by the break but if there's one good thing to be taken away out of all of this is that Meralco is expected to field a deeper lineup in their crucial matchup against San Miguel Beer early next month.

The Bolts are expected to welcome back Ranidel De Ocampo and KG Canaleta from injury and both should be available against the Beermen.

RDO has been dealing with a calf injury while Canaleta will be coming off a hamstring issue.

"The only good thing about the 12-day rest is I'm sure RDO will be back for that [San Miguel] game and KG Canaleta will be back for that game," Black said.

"That gives us a little more depth up front and we'll see what happens," he added.

The Bolts currently sit with a 4-6 mark, just outside the top-8 of the Governors' Cup.

San Miguel is barely holding on to 6th place with a 4-4 record and the Beermen still have two more games to go before taking on the Bolts.

Five playoff slots have been filled and the remaining three are contested by San Miguel, NLEX (4-5), TNT (4-5), Meralco, Rain or Shine (2-6), and Northport (2-7).
