Revilla on big game:
Revilla played 26 minutes and scored 13 points, grabbed four rebounds, and dished out six assists. He shot 50 percent and had no turnovers.

After acquiring Calvin Abueva, Phoenix has now more than a handful of scorers and shooters on deck.

After Calvin, there's Matthew Wright, Jason Perkins, and super import Eugene Phelps.

With loaded weapons up front, playmakers like LA Revilla are all the more crucial for the Fuel Masters and the diminutive point guard proved why he's important Wednesday as Phoenix scored a comeback win against Rain or Shine in the 2018 PBA Governors' Cup.

Phoenix erased a 16-point second-half deficit to frustrate the Elasto Painters, improving to 7-3 in the standings, one win away for a sure twice-to-beat edge in the playoffs.

Revilla played 26 minutes and scored 13 points, grabbed four rebounds, and dished out six assists. He shot 50 percent and had no turnovers.

"Hindi kami makaka-afford na ganun yung start or ganun ka-flat yung game namin throughout tapos pick up lang sa fourth quarter kung kailan namin dapat," Revilla said.

"Kailangan we have to learn, especially isang game na lang tapos playoffs na. Alam naman natin yung environment sa playoffs. We just have to learn from it," he added.

Revilla played most of the second half and hit one of the biggest shots of the game for Phoenix.

With the Elasto Painters trying to pull off one last run, LA hit a booming three in the final minute to give Phoenix a five-point lead.

"Syempre kung bibigyan ko ng ganung open shots, ititira mo na yun," Revilla said.

"Hindi naman pwedeng facilitator ka lang the whole time. Kung may opportunity ka na tumira, kahit role mo point guard lang, you have to be a threat inside [the court]," he added.
