PBA: Conditioning is top priority for June Mar, not 5th MVP
The reigning four-time league MVP is the runaway leader this season and has all but secured a historic fifth straight MVP trophy as long as he meets the minimum required games.

Much has been said about June Mar Fajardo's time out of San Miguel in the 2018 PBA Governors' Cup due to injury.

That's because if Fajardo ends up missing the whole conference, he's actually in danger of losing his MVP award.

The reigning four-time league MVP is the runaway leader this season and has all but secured a historic fifth straight MVP trophy as long as he meets the minimum required games.

Fortunately for June Mar fans, it looks like his MVP campaign is safe as Fajardo is set to make his conference debut for the Beermen this weekend after being already cleared for active duty following a shin injury.

Still, a fifth straight MVP award is not the main focus for June Mar. It was never the main motivation for his return.

Then, sana tuloy tuloy na. Sana magheal na," he said.

After missing time for about two months, Fajardo will not regain his usual load for the Beermen just yet that's for sure.

Instead, the focus for June Mar is conditioning as San Miguel gears up for another title run.

Takbo wala masyado, totally wala," he added.
