PBA: Bolts fight for playoff lives against streaking Beermen
A win by the Bolts can secure them at least a playoff for 8th depending on the result of TNT's game against Ginebra Sunday.

If Meralco is to make another Governors' Cup Finals, they can't afford to lose games anytime soon.

The Bolts fight for their season Saturday as the season-ending joust comes back from a week-long break.

Meralco, armed with a three-game winning streak but only a 4-6 record, draws the streaking San Miguel Beermen in the main 6:45 p.m. game at the Big Dome.

A win by the Bolts can secure them at least a playoff for 8th depending on the result of TNT's game against Ginebra Sunday.

A loss could mean outright elimination for Meralco.

Meanwhile, the Beermen (6-4) can finish no higher than fifth and will be at a disadvantage come playoff time. Still, San Miguel would like to enter the quarterfinals with a strong five-game winning streak.

In the first game at 4:30 p.m., the NLEX Road Warriors (5-5) look to handle their business against also-ran Rain or Shine (2-8).
