PBA: Aces out to eliminate SMB
Alaska holds a twice-to-beat advantage and the Aces would for sure like to make full use of that and send the Beermen packing.

For all the frustrations they've suffered at the hands of San Miguel over the last couple of years, the Aces are in prime position to get some sort of revenge now.

The 2018 PBA Governors' Cup quarterfinals continue Wednesday and no. 3 Alaska can advance to the semis after just one win against the 6th-seeded Beermen.

Alaska holds a twice-to-beat advantage and the Aces would for sure like to make full use of that and send the Beermen packing.

Still, San Miguel should be a tough out as the team is finally rounding into form with a complete lineup.

Tip off will be at 7:00 p.m. from the Cuneta Astrodome.

In the first game at 4:30 p.m., no. 2 Phoenix shoots for its first-ever semis stint as they go up against no. 7 Meralco.
