PBA: Manuel wants title now as Aces make Finals return
"Syempre, gusto naman namin makuha ngayon yung championship. Yun talaga pianaka-goal namin," Manuel said.

For the first time in two years, Alaska is finally back in the PBA Finals.

The Aces are through to the championship round after beating the Meralco Bolts in the 2018 PBA Governors' Cup semifinals Saturday, 3-1.

After a long road back to true contender status, Alaska is savoring this moment back to the Finals for sure.

"Masaya ako na nakabalik kami kasi noong una, goal lang nami sa eliminations yung Top 4," forward Vic Manuel said.

"Tapos nakuha namin, naging semis, hanggang sa Finals na," he added.

Making it back to the Finals is good but it's not enough for the Aces.

Considering their recent experiences in the Finals, where they lost four titles since 2015, the team would definitely not want a repeat of that now.

"Syempre, gusto naman namin makuha ngayon yung championship. Yun talaga pianaka-goal namin," Manuel said.

"Matagal-tagal na rin kaming hindi nakakakuha ng championship tapos ilang taon na rin kaming hindi nakakabalik sa Finals. Ngayon binigyan kami ng opportunity," he added.

Alaska will have Magnolia for the best-of-7 Finals starting with Game 1 on Dec. 5 at the MOA Arena.
