PBA: Ray Parks Jr. enters 2018 Draft
While he's officially entering the PBA Draft, Parks is expected to complete his third ABL season with Alab and will have a set up similar to that of Christian Standhardinger last year.

It's finally time.

Bobby Ray Parks Jr. will soon find himself in the PBA after he finally submitted his name for the 2018 Draft set for Dec. 16.

In a tweet Thursday, the San Miguel-Alab Pilipinas star tweeted that we was in the PBA office to make things "official."

Years after he completed his UAAP stint with the NU Bulldogs, where he won two MVP awards, Parks is finally on his way to the PBA.

In between the UAAP and the PBA, Parks chased his NBA dream, suiting up for the Texas Legends in the D-League.

He also had stops in the PBA D-League and the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League. Parks also had stints with Gilas Pilipinas where he won a SEA Games gold medal in Malaysia.

However, Parks' most notable pre-PBA team has been Alab, where he's a two-time local ABL MVP and one-time ABL champion.

While he's officially entering the PBA Draft, Parks is expected to complete his third ABL season with Alab and will have a set up similar to that of Christian Standhardinger last year.

Standhardinger, San Miguel's no. 1 pick in 2017, finished the ABL season with Hong Kong Eastern before joining the Beermen for the Commissioner's Cup.

Parks Jr. is the son of Bobby Parks, arguably the greatest import the PBA has ever seen. Parks Sr. has seven Best Import awards.
